In December 2004 ex-Los Angeles resident Dana Turkovic invited me to exhibit work at the Castles Yard space in Burford U.K (Burford is a small and old rural town a hour from the south west English village I grew up in) as part of her on going Pirate project. The following pages chronicle the process I undertook to produce the work shown in Burford in early summer 2005. This process began in spring 2005 and involved making a body of work in Los Angeles which I then took to my parents home in Kingswood U.K and continued to add too with the help of my family and a collaboration under the name Orchard with my childhood friend Philip Alexander which resulted in creating a piece of music and a performance. The final chapter documents the show at the Pirate space in Burford from its installation to opening night performance by Phil and me as Orchard

A book documenting the complete project is available in a downloadable pdf form in the menu bar to the left of the screen under the Burford book title, the book is 41 pages in length.
